Innovo Renewables acquires 66MWp of ready-to-build solar power plants
Innovo Renewables has acquired 11 photovoltaic plants, including agri-voltaic projects, at an advanced stage of development (ready-to-build) with a total capacity of 66 MWp.
The multi-party transaction will accelerate the growth of the company founded by Rodolfo Bigolin, which aims to reach 150 MWp of acquired projects by mid-year.
The construction of the 11 projects, located in Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo and Puglia, is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2025, with commissioning expected between the end of the year and early 2026.
The acquisition of the ready-to-build plants was also made possible by the recent €30 million investment by Aviva Investors, which increased its stake to 45% of the company’s capital and will further support Innovo Renewables’ development plan to become one of the leading independent power producers (IPP) in Europe.
